Pottery painting and slime craft party

My daughter turned six this month and we hosted her first ever birthday party with her friends in a local village hall.

We hired the services of Daisy Elephant who offer various craft packages for children's parties. We opted for the pottery painting and slime craft party which all the children LOVED.

I took lots of photographs of the children, capturing the fun of the party and realised this is something I would very much like to do for others also. Wearing both hats of parent, party host and photographer meant I didn't get as many photographs as I would have liked. I'm sure others can relate to this with the madness of hosting a children's party so let me do this for you !

Fortunately I did manage to get the spirit of the party on camera though and create a gallery of images for us to keep. I'm really glad I did, as otherwise I'd have nothing to look back on to remember a lovely day.

I also took Polaroids of each child cuddling the birthday girl as they arrived at the party and gave these as keepsakes, along with the pottery and slime trinkets in their party bags. They were a huge hit! Nothing beats a physical photograph you can take home and keep whatever age you are, but especially when you are six !
