It's a real an honour when another photographer gets in touch wanting updated branding photographs, especially when it's the lovely Deal based photographer Laura from @anysomethingphotography who is also the magic behind the popular insta page @teaandbiscuits_x.
We brainstormed over a video call beforehand discussing what Laura needed, swapping ideas and mood boarding her visual strategy. Being a photographer herself, Laura was clear on her intention and how she wanted to represent herself. Her local area and working studio are identifiable markers of her brand that she wanted to weave into her imagery, for this reason we scheduled the session to include both on location and in house studio time. The best of both worlds if you ask me !
For those of you who are less sure on what it is you want and need, I can help and advise regarding outfit choices, poses, locations, basically all the visual and aesthetic clues that identify the brand and story telling you are wanting to convey. I can also provide a variety of compositions and imagery for maximum usage across all your platforms in the couple of hours we spend together.
I'm mindful to not rush any of my sessions, using allocated time only as a guide. No one likes to be rushed and it's only by taking the time to connect that most people can start to relax in front of a camera and their personality can shine through.
Helping others to elevate their brand with powerful imagery is high on my agenda right now and something I plan to do more and more of.
