Couples session

Photographs taken on a fabulous morning on Sardinia Bay Beach in the Eastern Cape, South Africa earlier this month with Georgie & Bertus.

Whilst the epic backdrop makes for wonderful imagery, for me its capturing the connection of my couples that is the real star of the show!

We spent time walking the enormous dunes and then through the water, all the time talking together as I snapped away. It allows everyone to relax, the couples to open up and for us to have fun.

For some couples I'll give gentle prompts when a beautiful moment presents itself. For most just asking them to continue walking and talking with each other is enough for me step back and frame the love that exists.
