The original 50 year old wedding album was shot in colour, which in 1973 was still fairly new technology for its time. The album hasn't fared well and lots of the colours have faded, turning orange. The bride wanted to digitalise the album for future posterity and convert to a more timeless appeal of black and white and I was only too happy to help with this.

Re-photographing the prints under studio lighting and then colour correcting in editing software took time. As did removing the imperfections on the prints one by one.

It was a great feeling delivering their album as digital files for the first time. As well as being able to share online and reprint just in time for their 50th Wedding Anniversary celebrations !
